Large scale guipure lace

Lace has been on trend for so many seasons. It's slowly changed its shape from pretty florals to large scale designs. Whilst classic lace consists of motifs sewn on net fabric, guipure lace looks more like a continuous design. The edges of the motifs are often raised and bars are used to connect the motifs. This makes it thick and more three dimensional. Guipure lace is therefore one of the most durable lace options.

I decided to check the lace selection on etsy and was pleasantly surprised. So many beautiful, modern designs to choose from!
