Stripy peplum skirt...without a peplum

I wanted a skirt in structured fabric and went for what I believe is an upholstery fabric from a discounted pile of leftover pieces. It's thick and it's polyester, an absolute nightmare to iron!

I used my peplum skirt pattern without the peplum.

Not having a lining doesn't mean you can't finish the inside neatly. I often use bias tape to finish the inside edge of a waistband.
